GAMOREL

Our packing facility is unique in Uruguay due to its size and industrial design. The internal organization of the building and the use of state-of-the-art technology will allow us to process more than 3 million kilos of fruit per season.

We have modern processing lines, with specialized areas for fruit classification and the filling of clamshells by weight. The project has also high efficiency cooling and freezing tunnels, refrigeration chambers and when needed fumigation.

The entire staff of Gamorel has as its mission statement the ongoing improvement of the plantation and in packing infrastructure. We therefore continue to experiment with new agricultural technologies and plant varieties as well as undertaking new challenges such as the building of an IQF facility (Individual Quick Frozen).

This infrastructure will give us versatility in post harvest management and open the possibility of handling other kinds of berries year round.
